This role focuses on managing and developing strategic key accounts across the Benelux region. You will drive commercial growth, build long-term partnerships, and translate market insights into actionable strategies. The position requires strong relationship-building skills, a deep understanding of retail, pharmacy and e-commerce channels, and the ability to work autonomously while collaborating effectively with internal teams.
Responsibilities- Act as the main commercial partner for key retail, pharmacy and e-commerce accounts across Belgium, the Netherlands and Luxembourg.
- Build strong, long-term customer relationships and tailor solutions based on each client's business model and needs.
- Define, implement and monitor strategic account plans and annual business objectives.
- Identify new growth opportunities within existing accounts and drive revenue performance.
- Negotiate agreements, pricing and commercial terms to maximise results while ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Track and analyse account performance, commercial KPIs and market dynamics to guide decision-making.
- Translate insights into actionable strategies and recommendations for internal teams.
- Collaborate closely with marketing, training, demand planning and finance to ensure execution of account plans.
- Lead business reviews and joint-planning sessions with partners.
- Contribute to internal improvements by sharing customer feedback and market intelligence.
- Support and mentor junior team members and foster a collaborative, high-performance culture.
- Travel occasionally within the region (3-4 weeks per year).
Requirements- Proven experience managing major retail, pharmacy and e-commerce accounts with a strong commercial track record.
- At least 5 years of experience in key account management, sales or business development within pharmaceutical, dermo-cosmetic or FMCG sectors.
- Strong negotiation, influencing and strategic planning skills.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret KPIs, analyse markets and convert insights into effective actions.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in business, marketing or a related field.
- Fluent in Dutch, French and English (all required).
- Entrepreneurial, autonomous, proactive and results-driven, with the ability to operate in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills and ability to align internal and external stakeholders.
- Comfortable taking full ownership of portfolio strategy, execution and performance.
